Frequently Asked Questions

  • What issues can counselling help with?

Counselling can support you through challenges such as stress, anxiety, relationships, life transitions, grief, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck. It can also be a space to reflect, grow, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

  • What is the difference between counselling and coaching?

Counselling helps you explore and work through emotional, psychological, or relationship challenges. Coaching is more future-focused, supporting you to set goals, build confidence, and make meaningful changes in your personal or professional life.

  • How does online counselling work?

Sessions are held via a secure video platform. You simply need a private space, an internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone. Many clients find online sessions more convenient and just as effective as in-person counselling.

  • How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your goals and circumstances. Some people find a few sessions helpful for clarity, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll discuss your needs together and adapt as we go.

  • Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes, I offer a complimentary 15-minute call so you can ask questions, see if we’re a good fit, and feel comfortable before booking a full session.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

That’s okay! Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less notice may incur a fee.
